The MentalCast's thirty-eighth season is scheduled to begin on March 13, 2019, and is scheduled to end on June 26, 2019. Michael Riley returned as host this season. Returning as regulars are Chelsea Tarkington and Billy Carter, reprising their statuses and roles from the original run. Also returning as semi-regulars, a new status that will be sitting in for regulars that cannot appear, is Jason Amherst (who will also be a recurring cast member). Dane Forgione briefly returned as producer and semi-regular, but retired from the show midway through the season for personal reasons. Michelle Light, Mark Gledhill, Rick Terrasi, Adam Winkelmann and Adam Bednarczyk also returned as recurring cast members. Guest stars appearing this season are Travis Schaeffer and Tiffany Starr.
This is the only season to be produced following the 2019 announcement of the show's revival. It is the first season of the show to be produced in 2 years, the last being produced in mid-2017. The show originally scheduled to air on June 12, 2019 was cancelled due to Michael taking a week-long break from all live streaming shows. Following this, the show was abruptly cancelled at the end of June 2019, marking once again the official end of the show.
